RS Landscape and Construction Inc. is a Guelph based residential landscape and construction firm established in 2019. RS Landscape and Construction is a joint venture between Evan Short and Mike Roy driven by a shared passion for transforming outdoor spaces.

Mike Roy (Vice President)

A New Brunswick native, Mike brings over 30 years of civil and residential construction expertise to RS and all of its projects. Specializing in excavation and site grading, Mike has been apart of numerous large scale municipal park and artificial turf projects all across Ontario. Mike keeps RS moving with a vast mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment. When he isn’t working you can find Mike on his Harley or at the Lake with his wife and dogs. 

Evan Short (President)

A graduate of the University of Guelph Landscape Architecture program, Evan applies both his practical and technical knowledge to each of his client’s projects. Working in both construction field and office, Evan started in structural foundations and rebar before moving into residential landscape construction. Evan completes the estimates, client meetings and online content for RS when not on-site. When he isn’t in the field you will find Evan with his family or working on his home.
